Lakeland Bank Appoints Maureen Martin SVP Director of Marketing
Oak Ridge, N.J. – October 6, 2011 – Thomas J. Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank, has announced the appointment of Maureen Martin to senior vice president of marketing based at the Lakeland Bank headquarters in Oak Ridge, N.J.
Martin has over 25 years of banking experience, most recently with Sussex Bank in Franklin where she was senior vice president of marketing and customer experience. From 2000 to 2006, she was the senior vice president, retail banking at First Morris Bank & Trust (now Provident Bank) in Morristown. Prior to that, Martin spent four years at Valley National Bank in Morris Plains as vice president/branch manager. Her banking career began at New Jersey Bank (now PNC) in West Paterson where she held the position of vice president/branch manager until 1985.
Martin holds a bachelors degree in mathematics from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. and currently serves on the finance committee at Notre Dame Church in Cedar Knolls. She resides in Morris Plains with her husband Michael and has two adult children.
