Lakeland Bank Employees Recognized for 10 Years of Service
Oak Ridge, N.J. – December 20, 2011 – Lakeland Bank recently recognized six employees for their 10 years of service to the Company. Dije Alliu, Rosemary Kullmann, Cindy Mottola, Deborah Parker, Richard Petouvis, Jennifer Wright were all honored at a ceremony held at the Corporate Administrative Office in Oak Ridge.
“Achieving 10 years of service is a highly respected milestone at Lakeland Bank, and I am pleased to recognize these individuals for their time, commitment and dedication to our company,” said Thomas Shara, president and chief executive officer. “They join more than 170 colleagues who have worked at Lakeland Bank 10 or more years.”
Dije Alliu – Online Banking Sales and Support, Computer Services
Alliu, of Lafayette, joined the Bank in 2001 as a teller at the Branchville Office and transferred to the Frankford Office in 2003. In 2007, she was promoted to teller manager and transferred to her current position in 2008. She was selected as an Employee of the Quarter in the 4th quarter of 2010. Alliu received an associate’s degree from Sussex County Community College.
Rosemary Kullmann – Consumer Clerk, Consumer Loan Department
Kullmann, of Sparta, started in 2001 as a data entry clerk in the consumer loan department and transitioned to her current position in 2009. In 2011, she received the Retail STAR Award in the 1st quarter and the Employee of the Quarter Award in the 3rd quarter. A member of the Sparta Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary since 1992, she has served as chaplain, vice president and president, and currently serves as secretary. Kullmann earned an Associate of Science from County College of Morris.
Cindy S. Mottola – Debit Card and ATM Processor, Computer Services
Mottola, of Belvidere, joined Lakeland Bank in 2001 in branch operations and transferred to her current position in 2004. She has been in the banking industry since 1989. Mottola received the Retail STAR Award in 2010 and has been a recipient of the Employee of the Quarter Award twice; 1st quarter 2009 and 4th quarter 2011.
Deborah Parker – Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager, Hampton Office
Parker, of Wantage, joined Lakeland Bank in 2001 as assistant vice president and branch manager of the Hampton Office. In August 2002, she was given cluster responsibility of the Newton Office until its closure. Prior to Lakeland Bank, Parker worked for National Community Bank and Bank of New York. Parker is a member of the Hampton Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of directors for the Center for Prevention & Counseling.
Richard Petouvis – Senior Vice President, Regional Administrator, Eastern Region
Petouvis, of Paramus, started with the former Community State Bank as vice president-operations officer in 2001 and became vice president-regional administrator for the Eastern Region after the Lakeland Bank acquisition in 2003. He was promoted earlier this year to senior vice president. Prior to Lakeland Bank, he worked for United Jersey Bank/Summit Bank, Paine Webber (UBS) and Independent Bank Consulting. He is a board member for Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County, member of the 200 Club of Bergen County, and a volunteer for Paterson Habitat for Humanity and United Way of Bergen County. Petouvis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Jennifer Wright – Help Desk Supervisor, Network Administration
Wright, of West Milford, joined Lakeland Bank in 2000 as a teller at the West Milford Office, and was promoted in 2003 to teller manager at the Milton Office. In 2006, she transferred to network administration as a network analyst and was promoted to her current position earlier this year. She is a two-time recipient of the Employee of the Quarter Award; 2nd quarter 2009 and 4th quarter 2011. Wright was inducted as a member of Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society in November 2001 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from William Paterson University in 2002.
