Lakeland Bank Announces Employee Promotions
Oak Ridge, N.J. – April 24, 2012 – Thomas J. Shara, president and chief executive officer of Lakeland Bank recently announced the following employee promotions.
New Officer Appointments
Sharla Gonzales to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager.Gonzales joined the Bank in December 1986 as a teller and advanced within retail banking. She was promoted to assistant branch manager in April 2007. In 2010, she transferred from Ringwood to the Park Ridge Office. A member of the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Paterson Habitat for Humanity, Gonzales resides in Woodcliff Lake.
Melissa Griffin to Assistant Treasurer – Sr. BSA-Fraud Analyst. Griffin started with Lakeland Bank in February 2008 as a BSA analyst in the BSA-fraud department. Prior to that, she worked for Mortgage Express as a loan processor. A graduate of Ramapo College, Griffin resides in Bushkill, Pa.
Karen Joy to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Joy joined the Bank in May 1998 as a customer service representative. She advanced within retail banking and was promoted to assistant branch manager in January 2000. Joy currently works at the Carey Avenue Office.
Maura Lapinski to Assistant Treasurer – Mortgage Loan Officer. Lapinski started with Lakeland Bank in May 2001 as a mortgage specialist. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked for Newton Trust as an AVP-loan officer. Lapinski has served as a trustee for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Sussex County for several years and lives in Hardyston.
Katherine Pallatroni to Assistant Treasurer – Baker Hill System Administrator. Pallatroni joined the Bank in February 2001 as a credit clerk. She advanced to senior credit clerk and moved to the Sussex Lending Team in the commercial loans department as the Baker Hill administrator. Pallatroni has an associate’s degree from Sussex County Community College and currently resides in Wantage.
Patricia Ryan to Assistant Treasurer – Mortgage Loan Officer. Ryan joined the former NBSC in February 1982 as a teller. She moved up within retail banking and transferred in November 1992 to the mortgage department as a mortgage loan underwriter. Her most recent position was as a mortgage loan specialist. Ryan is a parishioner at St. Joseph Church and resides in Newton.
Richard Totaro to Assistant Treasurer – Team Leader-Equipment Finance.Totaro joined Lakeland Bank in September 2001 as a leasing processor in loan operations and was promoted to team leader–equipment leasing in September 2005. He was an Employee of the Quarter in 2009. Prior to joining the Bank, Totaro was a branch manager at Newton Trust. He is a resident of Newton.
