Lakeland Bank Announces New Officer Appointments
Oak Ridge, N.J. – May 13, 2013 – Thomas J. Shara, president and chief executive officer of Lakeland Bank recently announced the following new officer appointments.
Lori Buccafusca to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Buccafusca joined Lakeland Bank in February 2004 as a customer service representative in the Montville Office and was promoted to assistant branch manager in March 2010. She has taken various banking courses through The American Institute of Banking. Buccafusca previously worked for Bank of New York for 16 years and is a resident of Denville.
Patricia Colie to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Coordinator. Colie joined Lakeland Bank in October 2005 as a teller in Morristown, transferred to Carlstadt in 2006 as teller manager and was promoted in 2007 to customer service representative. In April 2008, she was promoted to assistant branch manager of Park Ridge, transferred in November 2009 to Pompton Plains and transferred in July 2010 to the branch administration department as a branch operations coordinator. Colie was awarded Lakeland Bank’s top ABM for the Eastern Region three times. She studied art and art history at County College of Morris and Jersey City State College. Colie resides in Lyndhurst.
Bobbie-Jo Corey to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Corey joined the former Newton Trust in May 1999 as an assistant branch manager. She works in the Branchville Office.
Max Custer to Assistant Treasurer – Senior Credit Analyst. Custer joined Lakeland Bank as a seasonal clerk in the credit department in June 2008 and returned during school breaks. Hired as a junior credit analyst in July 2011, he was promoted to senior credit analyst–lending team in August 2012. He earned a BS degree in general business and entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland and is pursuing an MBA in accounting and finance at Rutgers Business School. Custer is a resident of Fairfield.
Misun DeGraff to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. DeGraff joined the former National Bank of Sussex County (NBSC) in August 2000 as a teller in Andover and advanced to customer service representative eventually transferring to North Warren. She was promoted to assistant branch manager of Stillwater in May 2008. A graduate of University of Kyoungbok with a business economics and management administration degree, DeGraff is a former real estate agent and mortgage consultant. She resides in Stillwater.
Sara Esposito to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Esposito joined Lakeland Bank in September 2005 as a customer service representative in Butler and was promoted to assistant branch manager in August 2008. She has received several sales awards for top ABM in the Southern Region and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Suzanne Fonseca to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Fonseca joined Lakeland Bank in May 2006 as an assistant branch manager of Carlstadt. Prior to that, she was an assistant branch manager at The Bank of New York. Fonseca earned her bachelors degree from Montclair State University and serves as secretary and coach for the Carlstadt Recreation Soccer League. She resides in Carlstadt.
Charlene Gordon to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Gordon joined Lakeland Bank in May 2006 as an assistant branch manager in Hackensack. She is the recipient of multiple Lakeland Bank sales awards and was awarded the Bank’s Finest Award for the fourth quarter of 2011. Prior to Lakeland Bank, she was with Trust Company Bank of NJ and Hudson United Bank. Gordon graduated with a BA in psychology from Montclair State University.
Elisa McLearie to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. McLearie joined Lakeland Bank in October 2009 as an assistant branch manager in Teaneck. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked for TD Bank as an assistant branch manager. McLearie is a resident of Maywood.
Sonal Parikh to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Parikh joined Lakeland Bank in September 2005 as an assistant branch manager in Caldwell. She has received numerous Lakeland Bank quarterly top ABM awards and won the Presidential award in 2012. Prior to Lakeland Bank, Parikh worked at Bank of America (formerly Fleet National Bank) as an assistant branch manager. She has a Bachelor of business administration and is actively involved with the Caldwell Education Fund, Caldwell Merchants Association and the Caldwell Kiwanis. Parikh resides in Parsippany.
Debra Reade to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Reade joined Lakeland Bank in November 2003 as a customer service representative in Teaneck and was promoted to assistant branch manager of the Englewood Office in July 2005. She received a Lakeland Bank quarterly sales award for top ABM in 2012. Prior to Lakeland Bank, she worked for Trust Company of NJ and Fleet Bank. Reade earned a bachelor of science from Berkeley College and resides in Little Falls.
William Reul to Assistant Treasurer – Credit Administration Reports Officer. Reul joined Lakeland Bank in March 2006 working in the leasing division in Montville. In 2008, he relocated to the credit administration department in Oak Ridge as an equipment finance credit administrator. Reul is actively involved with St. Mary’s Church in Pompton Lakes as a Stephen Minister, caring for those facing difficult life challenges and a Youth Ministry volunteer for retreats and service projects.
Teresa Scheel to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Scheel joined the former NBSC in December 1999 as a teller. She advanced to customer service representative and was promoted to assistant branch manager of Lafayette in July 2003. Scheel transferred to the Sussex Wantage Office prior to transferring to the Park Place Office in 2010. She is a resident of Montague.
Jennifer Sparnon to Assistant Treasurer – Branch Operations Manager. Sparnon joined Lakeland Bank in November 2003 as a teller in Pompton Plains. Promoted to teller manager in Wyckoff in 2004, she advanced within retail banking and was promoted to assistant branch manager in March 2008. Sparnon is a graduate of Dover Business College and is an active volunteer for Angels of Hope. Formerly of Stockholm, she currently resides in Pompton Plains.
