Lakeland Bank Colleagues Recognized for 10 Years of Service
Oak Ridge, NJ, December 12, 2013––Lakeland Bank recently recognized seven colleagues for their 10 years of service to the company at a ceremony held at the Bank’s corporate office. Mary Beth Carney, Judy Forrester, Joseph Kapraszewski, Donna Orta, Kenneth Partyka, Debra Reade and Jennifer Sparnon all reached this significant milestone.
“It is a pleasure to reward our colleagues for their 10 years of service to the bank. Their long-term commitment to Lakeland Bank and our customers is an accomplishment that deserves recognition,” said Thomas J. Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank.
Mary Beth Carney – Commercial Loan Assistant, Commercial Lending, Montville
Carney started as a temporary employee and officially joined the Bank in 2003. She was previously employed as an editorial assistant at Silver Burdett Gin which published elementary school books. A member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, the National Humane Education Society and Alumna of Aquinas High School, Carney resides in Montville.
Judy Forrester – Regional Administrator Assistant, Eastern Region, Wyckoff
Forrester joined the Bank in 2003 as an administrative assistant for the Eastern Region.
Joseph Kapraszewski – Collection Bankruptcy Liaison, Credit Admin., Oak Ridge
Kapraszewski began his career with the Bank in 2003 as a collection clerk advancing to his current position. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications from Bryant College in 2002 and his paralegal Studies Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Kapraszewski is a resident of West Milford.
Donna Orta – Returned Mail Clerk, Deposit Operations, Milton
Orta joined the Bank in 2003 as a part-time switchboard operator and advanced to her current position. Orta received the Lakeland Bank Employee of the Quarter Award in 2010. She has been a team captain for both the Susan G. Koman NY & NJ Race for the Cure and Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness. Orta resides in Oak Ridge.
Kenneth Partyka – Vice President, Cluster Branch Manager, Pompton Plains/Wayne
Partyka joined the Bank as an assistant vice president, branch manager in the Hackensack Office in 2003, and has held the same position at the Teaneck and Pompton Plains Offices. He was promoted to vice president, cluster branch manager for the Pompton Plains and Wayne Offices in March 2013. Prior to Lakeland Bank, he was employed with Bank of New York, formerly National Community Bank, and Interchange Bank. Partyka is a member of the Pequannock Chamber and Tri-County Chamber, and is a resident of Hasbrouck Heights.
Debra Reade – Assistant Treasurer, Branch Operations Manager, Englewood
Reade joined the Bank in 2003 as a customer service representative for the Teaneck Office, and advanced to her current position at the Englewood Office. Previously, she worked for Trust Company Bank and Summit Bank. Reade earned her bachelors of science in business administration from Berkeley College. She resides in Little Falls.
Jennifer Sparnon, Assistant Treasurer, Branch Operations Manager, Andover
Sparnon joined the Bank in 2003 as a teller at the Pompton Plains Office. She transferred in 2004 to teller manager at the Wyckoff Office, was promoted in 2007 to customer service representative and again in 2008 to assistant branch manager. In March 2013, she was promoted to assistant treasurer, branch operations manager and in November transferred to Andover. Sparnon volunteers for Angels of Hope Organization, and is a resident of Pompton Plains.
