Debit Card Phishing Alert

Please be advised that numerous bank customers have reported that they received a text message stating that their debit card is frozen, with instructions to press 1 for security. It then prompts the customer to enter in their account information. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE! This appears to be a fraudulent act to gain personal information.
Lakeland Bank will never contact you by text, email or phone asking for any personal or bank account information; however, if you contact Lakeland Bank, we may verify the last 4 digits of your SSN to confirm your identity.
