Oak Ridge, N.J. – October 9, 2020 – Lakeland Bank is pleased to announce that $160,000 was raised at the Bank’s Annual Scholarship Golf Outing held September 22 at Crystal Springs Resort. Scholarships will be presented in 2021 to local students pursuing a higher education.
“Since Lakeland began hosting its Scholarship Outing in 1974, nearly $2.7 million has been awarded to students from the community who have demonstrated academic success and plan to further their education,” said Thomas Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank. “Given the challenges of hosting a golf outing during the pandemic, we are especially grateful for the generosity of our associates, customers and business partners who all contributed to make this special event a success.”
