Oak Ridge, N.J., Dec. 19, 2018 – Lakeland Bank is pleased to announce that $190,000 was raised at the Bank’s Annual Scholarship Golf Outing held October 30, 2018 at Crystal Springs Resort. Scholarships will be awarded in 2019 to local students pursuing a higher education.
“Lakeland Bank has been hosting this Golf Outing for 46 years and will remain committed to providing scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic success and have an interest in attending college,” said Thomas Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank.
Lakeland Bank advises students in their senior year to contact the Guidance department at their school to learn how to apply for a Lakeland Bank Scholarship in 2019. The Bank awarded $165,000 in scholarships in 2018 to seniors from 73 local high schools. The students were selected by their school and had to demonstrate academic success and an interest in pursuing a higher education.
